About Blankets…


Forever Blankets and Bears is pleased to offer, wonderfully hand crafted reversible baby blankets. These are warm and cozy and a wonderful heirloom to commemorate the birth of a special new baby.

Our blankets have 2 sides; a patterned side and a solid side and are 30"x 40". The patterned side is 100% cotton flannel, which is super soft high quality cotton. The solid side is made of soft minkee velour, which is 100% polyester. It feels like velvet and is the side we embroider. This blanket is as attractive as it is practical with colorful, high quality fabrics and a contrasting decorative serged edge. All our personalized baby blankets are handmade and our fabric is purchased from reputable North American suppliers only.

The large collection of solid colored minkee fabrics will coordinate beautifully with a variety of the flannel backings. In some cases, the colors of our products may vary slightly from those depicted on our web site, as a result of small differences in monitors and fabric dye lots. We try our best to select thread colors that match the baby’s sex (if known) and the colors in the fabric selections. However, if you have a strong preference for a particular set of colors, please indicate this on your order.
Our baby blankets are lightweight and are made without any fillings or battings making them versatile for many applications like bundling a baby, cuddling a little one, covering a nursing mother or stroller and as a car seat cover or liner. They make great swaddling blankets.
The blanket washes beautifully and will last for year’s even generations. Blanket care is easy; we recommend a warm or cold-water wash on a normal or gentle cycle without bleach. Tumble dry on a warm setting and if you’d like you can freshen it up with the iron on a low setting.
