Web18 okt. 2013 · Have an A-15 ('01) and am closing in on 35K miles, did the "doo". Adjusted valves once at 6K (bought with 2K) and have checked twice since with no change. Had a tank leak at rear mount weld, POR-15 fixed it. Cracked a water pump housing on a rock (deflected Alum bashplate), bought new housing fixed. Replace full drive train at 22K. WebLower mileage is always better but I have an 05 DRZ400SM, it had 61,000 miles and is still running strong. I would expect a longer life out of the KLR. KLR is soooo simple, they will probably last forever. When I was looking for my KLR I wanted less than 30k miles for less than 2500 bucks.
